【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulinevaluatingthedegreetowhichagreasewouldseparateintofluidandsolidcomponentswhensubjectedtohighcentrifugalforces.Flexibleshaftcouplings,universaljoints,androllingelementthrustbearingsareexamplesofmachinerywhichsubjectlubricatinggreasestolargeandprolongedcentrifugalforces.Thistestmethodhasbeenfoundtogiveresultsthatcorrelatewellwithresultsfromactualservice.Thetestmethodmayberunatotherconditionswithagreementbetweenpartiesbuttheprecisionnotedinthistestmethodwillnolongerapply.31.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedurefordeterminingthetendencyoflubricatinggreasetoseparateoilwhensubjectedtohighcentrifugalforces.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
