【摘要】:Identificationofabrackishwater,seawater,orbrineisdeterminedbycomparisonoftheconcentrationsoftheirdissolvedconstituents.Theresultsareusedtoevaluatetheoriginofthewater,determineifitisapossiblepollutantordetermineifitisacommercialsourceofavaluableconstituentsuchasiodineorbromine.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofsolubleiodideandbromideions,orboth,inbrackishwater,seawater,andbrines.Fourtestmethodsaregivenasfollows:1.1.1TestMethodAforbothIodideandBromideIonsx2014;Volumetric,forconcentrationsfrom0.2to2000mg/Liodideandfrom5to6500mg/Lbromide(Sections7-15).1.1.2TestMethodBforIodideIon8212;Colorimetric,forconcentrationsfrom0.2to2000mg/Liodide(Sections16-25).1.1.3TestMethodCforIodideIon8212;Selectiveelectrode,forconcentrationsfrom1to2000mg/Liodide(Sections26-34).1.1.4TestMethodDforBromideIon8212;Colorimetric,forconcentrationsfrom40to6500mg/Lbromide(Sections35-44).1.2TestMethodAisintendedforuseonallbrackishwaters,seawaters,andbrinesthatcontainappreciableamountsofiodideorbromideionsorboth.TestMethodsB,C,andD,becauseoftheirrapidityandsensitivity,arerecommendedfortheanalysisofbrackishwaters,seawaters,andbrinesinthefieldandinthelaboratory.1.3Samplescontainingfrom0.2to2000mg/Lofiodideor5to6500mg/Lofbromidemaybeanalyzedbythesemethods.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,see20.2and39.2.7.1Thistestmethodisapplicabletobrackishwaters,seawaters,andbrines,andisrecommendedforsuchwaterscontainingappreciableamountsofiodideorbromide,orboth.Thetestmethodcanbeusedforconcentrationsashighas2000mg/Liodideand6500mg/Lbromide.16.1Thistestmethodcoversthecolorimetricdeterminationofiodideinbrackishwater,seawater,andbrineswhereconcentrationsrangefrom0.2to2000mg/L.26.1Thistestmethodisapplicabletoallbrackishwaters,seawaters,andbrinescontainingfrom1to2000mg/Liodide.35.1Thistestmethodisapplicabletoallbrackishwaters,seawaters,andbrineswithbromideconcentrationsrangingfrom40to6500mg/L.
