【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestestmethodsforkinkingpropertiesforsinglelumencathetersandmedicaltubing,aspresentedforclinicaluse,whenbentinasingleplane.Itisrecognizedthatotherforcese.g.twistingwillinfluencethebehaviouroftheproduct,butnostandardtestmethodsareyetavailable.Itisalsorecognizedthatsuchtubingcanbeusedtotransportliquidsorgases.However,waterisusedasastandardtestmedium,asthepurposeofthisstandardistoensureuniformityintheevaluationoftubingkinkproperties.NOTEThismethodisdesignedforsingle-lumentubingbutcanalsobeusedformulti-lumentubing.Itshouldbeensuredthatthebendingisdoneintheworstcasedirection,unlessthiswouldnotpresentapossiblereallifesituation.
